Inmitten eines Pokerspiels, bei dem viel auf dem Spiel steht, steht Donald Duck im Mittelpunkt, umgeben von seinem inneren Konflikt, dargestellt als Engel und Teufel, die um seine Aufmerksamkeit buhlen.
Mit einem verschmitzten Grinsen betrachtet Donald sein Blatt, während die beiden ihm ihre Ratschläge ins Ohr flüstern. Donalds Gesichtsausdruck, gefangen zwischen Versuchung und Tugend, deutet den inneren Kampf an, der sich in ihm abspielt, und fügt diesem skurrilen Tableau eine spielerische und zugleich nachdenklich stimmende Ebene hinzu.
